Palmistry is a prehistoric divination because we have had our hands long before any written language, before occult symbols or symbolic languages such as runes and because of that, diviners have a full and unwritten past.
The more modern roots of palmistry came through India and also the Chinese book I Ching or at least that is what is said. I am sure many places on earth have practiced the art and also endured and survived the skeptics.
The hand of the palm is basically an outline of the astrological chart laid over the hand and the information is very similar to one’s astrology chart and one’s palm. All prehistory or very ancient meanings are lost, so Astrology was the basis of what we know as palmistry today. If you are an astrologer, then its much easier. If you are a beginning, try to study both palm reading and astrology to better your craft.
I like to do readings with both the traditional palmistry readings and the astrological chart to make sure they correlate to the planets and symbols. Of course Palmistry has more symbols like stars and x’s etc. but being a symbolist, even those are easily deciphered.
I have had my palm read three times in my life, but the last one was the best, I was around 37 years old, so I understood the readings and descriptions by the palmist. He was an elderly gentleman named Edward who was around 85 years old and read only palms his whole life. He has since passed on right after that session. He took my hands and began to draw on the palms with his red marker while he was reading them.
He wore very thick glasses and I thought it was because his eyesight was bad to use a marker, but many old school Palmists did that. It was a very good reading and he gave me a few insights on the Mystic’s Triangles. He was quite shocked that I had the most lines on my hands than anyone he had seen in his fifty years as a palmist, I assured him it was all true of what comes with being a fated shaman and exorcist.
Everyone can learn palmistry if there is an interest, its a lot of study but the wisdom comes side by side along with one’s own journey. There are very technical palmists just like their are very technical artists, but I am a lover of the soul and its journeys and that has made my fate so soul rich… all pain, but still very rich in spiritual terms.
Those who seek palm readings do so not for the technical ability, but the wisdom of the reader and their life experiences called wisdom to be shared. So if you have an interest, we can always use more gifted palmists in this world if you feel called.
All esoteric people generally first learn their own palm or astrology chart or tarot cards, then they move into the sphere of friends and family and then dedicate with more professional and public readings when they can be fully accountable for the information they give. Unfortunately today, people don’t study with dedication before they do readings for the public, they just jump right in and give a lot of bad advice from being too young without a lot of life experience.
A good amount of study, even if one is a natural in many divination is about twenty years and then begin to give counsel at 35 or 40. Wisdom comes after 50 and 60 because at each decade we have life lessons as well as study. Some people are gifted but I always suggest dedicate to learning first, rather than reading others first if you are serious about your spiritual desires.
The HandsHands are the sense of purpose, and ruled by Gemini in Astrology and it serves us in the physical accomplishments we have each day. Those who have lost a hand or finger or birth defects, have chosen that life and there are no mistakes or coincidences in life. We have two hands and many do not understand the differences between the symbolic and actions of such. In some of my work as a Seer I have learned many things about we human “beings” within the manifested and oracular sectors of our different realities. The subtle bodies of the emotional body and soul bodies, the hard facts of waking mind-body and the realm of our dreaming that gives insights that are inside out.

Grounded old souls are powerful in both Sun and Moon equally and have both potential development and remaining clear, both in their reasoned intelligence, and logical, and are also highly intuitive, sensitive and emotions are used for a higher purpose, not just for the self.
Everyone has potential and no life is misinterpreted in the ways we suffer and grow. Sometimes those who have the most unsuccessful lives, end up the healthiest and happiest in the end if they take the road of humbleness, truth and gratitude. Hand lines show us where our struggles are and how we can adjust being able to accept that… we are not perfect.
After my Palmist went over the main reading with me about twenty years ago, he said I saved the best for last in our reading, with a little gleam in his bright blue eyes, he showed me that on both my palms I have the fated Mystic Triangles (sometimes called the Great Triangle, but not to be confused with the Mystic Crosses or Psychic Triangle).
I joked and said well, maybe that is because my Mercury (which rules hands) is in Capricorn (earth’s wisdom) and my sun is Aquarian (collective intellect). He smiled because he too had studied many different esoteric practices when all the symbols begin to form a “root system” at the basis or foundation of all esoteric symbolism work. I had never seen these triangles until he pointed them out, either did the other two palmists who were very good readers where I did my Seer readings.
My Palmist was the type of person that got down to business with esoteric work (the healing work that must be done, not just wanting to know knowledge about it) and I like that, and I miss him very much. I have respect for the endurance of those who are dedicated in their seasoned crafts and gifts their whole life.
He definitely worked out his adult life issues and found peace in his elder stage and that actually radiated both power and love as he entered the deeper oracles with the more mature spiritual person (by age, those over 40). You can have all the gifts and all the practices, but if we do not carry a set of values and morals lived out, to test them, there is no real wisdom, just life experiences that were never resolved. It takes both.

Squares
Finding a square on the palm is like identifying protection and benevolent. Island LinesThe sign of the island carries with it not the most favorable value, and also reflects not the best periods in life. As a rule, only worsen the prediction. Sister Lines
These lines are close to one another, and often appear to be broken lines, but upon further inspection the sisters can be revealed. Whatever line the sister lines follow, they enhance and support that line, making it stronger. Wherever the break in the line may be, sister lines usually appear above and below the break, although they usually do not actually touch.

These lines protect broken, frayed or crooked lines, healing them with their duality. If these types of lines are found on your palm, it is believed that even though you may endure hardships, you will still learn valuable lessons and dodge the harshest assaults life may throw your way.
Circles
This particular one is according to Indian Palmistry: The circle is incredibly rare to find on a palm, however it does point to a more negative or misfortune (karma). I have had extremely intense death karma this lifetime to completely pay back two karmic lives and I have no circle. But my soul came to purify and this started a few lifetimes ago.

This makes me say that circles are those who chose not to pay or repay any karmic debt and misfortune cannot be thwarted off this time. If a circle touches any line there is misfortune that will find you, governing around the line it touches. Ovals or egg-like shapes are not the same as circles, and typically islands are positive.
Circles that are rather prominent and hard to miss and the circle of life shows up in very dark circumstances. The circle represents reliving the same mistakes over and over, without being able to escape them, heal from them, and points to past-life crises that need to be healed in this life through suffering.
The Mystics Triangle (Great Triangle)Mystic Triangles relates to all things of the “soul, karma and the emotional body” because its formed (red line) by the Heart (also called the Quadrangle in relationship to the mystics triangle), the Fate line and Health line.
The second Mystics Triangle is smaller and made from the (pink) Head, Fate and Health lines. Any smaller hash lines that form smaller triangle in the center of the hand is not the mystic triangle, but the smaller hash lines of the “psychics triangle” (see below).
The Mystic Triangle shows the path to the spiritual journey as its final destination regardless of a persons occupation or career in life, but for the spiritual person it means a devout path as their fate (rather than profession) which means they do not have a choice.
The MT individual hold very strong intuition and perception (and an emotional body to go with it) and can be seen in other esoteric practices as well. For example, I have a Thor’s Hammer in my Astrology chart which is equivalent to the mystics triangle. A Mystics Triangle is self mastery in a spiritual way and generally one begins unconsciously when young to prepare them for their fate. This can also mean a battle, or a struggle in life and sometimes it lasts a decade, two and for the rare three or more. Some use the word curse, but its really karma and its purification processes.
The size of the triangle makes a difference as well, there are two sizes, a large one and one just a bit smaller because of the head line, the bigger or broader triangle is less intense of a life, but requires more endurance of a longer journey where personal will is limited. When the upper angle (made by the Head and Life Lines) is acute, the subject will be more nervous and sensitive to changes.
Mystic Triangles, although a very difficult to carry, may suffer more only because they are much more sensitive and stronger than they realize or aware of. A self healing path is a good survival tool. Triangle people need to endure more to be fulfilled, so they rarely give up or the saying ‘where angels fear to tread’ would be a good analogy. There are no monetary or outer rewards like the M (people) but a great peace are inner rewards when their mystic triangle tests are completed.
In metaphysical work (mental body esoteric work, rather than the emotional and soul body) the Kabbalah says that the Magical Triangle is formed by the mind or Netzach, the Astral Body(emotional soul energy body) and the Ethereal Body (spirit body) which is also the basic life force principle. In other words… survival.
Writing this article today, because twenty years have gone by since my last palm reading, and because my mystic triangles were so prominent. I can look with hindsight to how this played out, which is the last third of the spiritualists journey, the wisdom. I am glad the palmist drew red lines over them, it made a mental forging that I would never forget.
I have two Mystic Triangles and one small mystic triangle within the large mystic triangle and I have always heard in the deeper circles of esoteric palmists, that lines will actually disappear when they are fulfilled. I was never sure about that because I had never heard anyone actually experience it and then share, or I have never seen examples of it with imaged proof of photographs of the hand.
So I redrew the red lines on my mystic triangles on both my hand today and I see on my right hand (the giving hand) the triangle has changed and evolved. The ‘Fate’ line (left side of triangle) is almost completely gone except for the top 1/2 inch. I have done my healing work on mind body and soul, and broke up any karma attached to this fated line and the results show.
The ‘Sun’ Line once obscured and faint and on an angle, is now making a new smaller triangle in the upper left corner. My ‘Saturn’ line (some call it the Karma and Purpose line) was true (right line of the triangle) because my Mars/Saturn are conjunction this lifetime and was the energy behind one of my actual karmic lives.

The shape of the moon on a hand is very rare, and I ran across this photo above from a textile page from Afghanistan. I immediately went to look at the mother’s hand behind her child and its obvious by region and country that she has had a hard life and works with her hands. It is almost a mystics triangle – but the bottom line is too curved for that and thus it makes an image of a moon, a very clear one.
I have never seen a ‘moon’ line symbol before in a persons hand so clear, but then I don’t do many readings on Muslims and Middle Eastern people. Moon is always a conflict, even the best placed moons. Our inner life is nothing like our outer life and to have that fated mark means great hardship.
I was quite amazed. This would be a very gifted person who can see, feel and live between both worlds, the moon world (inbetween the veils, dream worlds and intuitively inclined to see the mystery.) Rather than the sun reality of psychics with the mental body or mind gifts.
The Letter “M” – Nurturing and Magic

The next layer on top of that base is from era’s of written language cultures, the letter M is derived from the Phoenician word Mem, via the Greek Mu and its thought to represent water (the symbol of emotions). The Semitic people working in Egypt 2000 bce borrowed a hieroglyph for “water.” Symbolically then as a base root, the M is association mother (or nurturing) and water (emotional nurturing) either receiving or learning to give.
If the M is on the right hand – we would the giving of the nurturing aspect which healers or helpful people would have or if blocked and conflicted, not able to nurture. If the M is on the left hand, it signifies a need to learn to nurture the self from the inner nurturer.
If M is on both hands, then balance must be found this lifetime of how to both give and receive love (nurturing and helping others selflessly). Karma is where this trait was abused and its not an easy task to learn to give.
In the mental teachings, M is the letter of Magic from the word “magh”: to be able, or to have power. From the Persian word “magu”: priestess or priest, one of the members of the learned, from O. Pers. Magush. In Sanskrit, its the word “mahas” means power; in Latin “magis” and German “mebr” meaning “more.”
The word magic is derived from the ancient word “mag” that means magi of the priestess or priest. Magic, according to Novalis, is the art of influencing the inner world consciously to produce an outer result. It’s said when magic is explained as it really is, it seems to make no sense at all to factual people, they prefer to follow their world of illusion and self proclaimed power.
Esoteric and folk practitioners say the letter “M” on the palm connected to a major line of the heart, the head and or life line is considered a loyal and dedicated types of person, who tends to be social and also able to give service. One who is comfortable in social groups or has to learn to be loyal and dedicated. Not everyone has this marking, M’s are generally blessed with both good fortune and luck in their adventures in life and can see through lies or deceit if they learn to see their own.
Those whose life changes midway or midlife, can loose their M and it disappears because there are things that must be learned that may not be accepted. Ms in general though, are good at business, legal affairs and leadership. Ms tend to work well with others and this is a dual energy as it puts them into positions in life that receives the ordinary and mundane and love.
M’s need to share their blessings with others and respect others as part of their good fortune and if they don’t, it soon vanishes with age. Also the political field, sports, business, and a general love of life is a sign of a large M or two. There are smaller Ms and they are less important. If one suffers depression its because they are not letting life offer them more M (unless its karmic depression which can rule out action and will).
I am including Mercury here because Mercury is the ruler of the hands, and the symbol of the messenger. Its an air sign (mental body). In Greek Mythology, Mercury does displayed Wings (soul) but in the waking world. Mercury was called Wolf of the Sun(Solaris Luminis Particeps). The Palm symbol then, relates to Mind-Body, to intellectualism, journalism, the law, sciences, trips, logic medicine, journalism, writing, intellectualism all matters related with the Mind.
The Psychic TriangleThe psychic triangle is located under the ring finger. You will need to look at the palm carefully, this may be, under the light of the sun, or using a strong magnifying glass, this will enable the possibility of finding highly detailed symbols – To locate a little triangle then this means there are various souls that you will encounter.
You will have to work hard metaphysically to achieve success. It may help in participating dedicating to a discipline such as zen meditation and make a commitment, even attending a healer or healing center to help with some issues that need addressing this lifetime.
So if you do have the M or the Triangle on one or both hands, do appreciate the gifts. And for those who don’t have any of these, the wisdom from Native American Wistimene (Johnny Moses) says: “You’re the best and you’re no better than anybody else.”

The V really depends upon its environment, its usually unfinished business or unfinished personal development of a particular mental body (thoughts, beliefs) or emotional body issue, a soul body issue (which are always more severed, or lastly, a physical body issue. So where the V is places and near what, determines the personal work needed to be done.
If the V is right side up, then the work required is the bottom half, which is internal work, or a relationship with the issues internally that have more to do with you than others. Even if others may seem like the problem. If the V is upside down, then its the “top half” that needs completion with is external relationships and external work of self development.

Be it negative or positive, symbolism is the core basis of language before writing. In esoteric work, such as Palmistry, it has more to do with the heart and soul, rather than logic and communication of the mind.
Many people can have one X on one or both hands and that is rarer but those with more than 5 up to 13 Xs or even 20 Xs are extremely rare. In order to determine the credibility of this claim that X’s are not found that often in Palmistry, the STI University from Moscow, recently conducted a research and revealed a paper on the subject of the letter X on the palms and its potential connection to the destiny of the people who have it. But it seems to me that a lot of people in India have them but not in Russia. This says that we also have fate within a country that we live in too, not just personal.
For the more average person with one X, they show a bit more increase of the sixth sense or greater intuition, especially if they are a woman. But this mark is not a “fated” mark, its a “potential” mark. Comparing the “major arcana” of the Tarot to the remainder 85% of the deck, or the major “inner planets” in astrology compared to all the rest… marks on the hand are like that, there are the fated ones and the ones that have potential of development and the xs fall into the potential category.

StarsStars most often carries a positive meaning, especially if it is located on the mount of the Sun or Jupiter which are generally favorable. There are often surprise or flashes of insight and change regardless of the will of the person. Sometimes fate and destiny can out weigh will for those who are more internally focused.
Placement of Stars
- The most unfortunate place for a star is on the mound of Saturn. Achievements of a person will be associated with challenges, but Saturn is here to help us learn to be responsible and if our past life was filled with irresponsible choices, then this life we must make up for it. In Astrology, usually a planet in the 12th house shows the past life karma on a more collective level.
- Star in the center of the palm in palmistry is a very unusual symbol, which is quite rare. This is a unique and interesting sign that carries a great deep meaning. Positive or negative impact depends directly on the location on the palm, I consider it a fated sign that the whole focus of one’s life is to be centered with many things in their life.
- Stars located on the Mound of the Moon there tends to be less support from the home, and in some cases lies and betrayal in marriages. Such a combination may also foreshadow danger around water or in the more positive, a special connection to water.
- Stars on the mound of Mars shows that the person must be careful in their embodiment this lifetime. There can be accidents or bodily harm, but other factors weight in how strong or light this is.
- Stars on the Apollo Mount in general is a good combination, but the person needs to try work hard and be disciplined in achieving their goals.
- Stars on the Jupiter mound is considered a successful combination. It speaks of recognition and high self esteem (or whats termed as social power).

The Mystic CrossThe mystic cross is between the head line and the heart line at the palm center is called inspiration line or mystic cross or sixth sense line. If you have the cross or sign, you will have a good sixth sense of predication and the scenes in your dream will always come true.
I have over 30 mystic crosses and found certain things go with this and I have found the meaning to be true.
