What is it like to have been to more than 10 countries?

Noel Bastola

Well, I have been to more than 100 countries and all seven continents but the question is asked as what is it like to have been to more than 10 countries and to answer it correctly, I am now writing it. Travelling more than 10 countries brings immense change in our life.

Traveling to many countries (at least more than than 10 countries) changes our character. We become more confident, assertive, firm, fearless, extrovert, decisive, educated, tolerant, young, smart, happy, healthy and above all we explore the potential and beauty within ourselves not only that we become the different man.

Before travelling, I was so shy, timid, nervous, unfashionable, uncomfortable, introvert and look like a typical country side man. After I travelled, I came to know the importance of the journey. And now, to compare it in a right way, I compare with my own friends with whom I have grown up together and I found the big differences.

Living in a same place or a country, you look like a native, a true native but travelling in a different countries makes you cosmopolitan and above all no one can say the country, you belong. Travelling brings you knowledge about food, culture, religion, people, language, philosophy, humanity, and almost about everything. Travelling makes you the jack to fit in every circumstances and it changes the colour of your skin, looks in your eyes, steps of your feet, sound of your voice, thoughts of your mind, beauty of your soul, smile of your lips and finally it makes you a new man.

If I haven’t travelled, I would never have climbed mountain. Travelling is the exploration of your own beauty and potential.

Travelling brings the different perspectives in our life as it also changes our living style.

Travelling is the rebirth of our life because it changes everything as you can see your birth place from new eyes.

Travelling gives you cosmopolitan looks as all these 6 friends from different countries couldn’t tell me the country I belong. In the picture, I am second from the left.

These all friends are younger than me by age and they born in the city where as I born in the village. Travelling is a memory of happiness and the beauty of friendship (I am in the center with yellow t-shirt). So, sad to write here that we lost one of our friend.

Travelling is the exchange of smile and curiosity with all the people in the world.

Travelling is the unity of love, humanity, friendship, culture, religion and language.

They are the professor in the college. I still remember that before I travelled, I was so shy to talk to them but now I am so surprised to talk to them with my confidence. Travelling is the freedom of speech and spirit because it brings enough confidence to make you a leader.

Conclusion - Traveling makes you independent thinker and survival of the fittest. Travelling changes you completely and makes you a new man. If I have not travelled, I wouldn’t have been writing in Quora. That is why travelling is education and sharing the point of our views. Thank you for reading.
