A bidet.
Having lived and traveled in Asia quite a bit, I noticed every house there has a bidet. Whereas in the West, many toilets do not. If you wipe yourself using only tissue paper after using the toilet, you never get truly clean. A bidet, however, gets the job done everytime.
It disgusts me how so many Western people simply wipe their behinds after going “Number Two”, pull up their pants and call it a day. I’ve seen so many houses that don’t have a bidet, and the only way a person could get completely clean after taking a dump is by having a shower right after or being a little extra wasteful and reaching for baby-wipes, which are quite expensive to use daily.
No, I firmly believe that every proper bathroom should have a bidet. Your bum deserves more than just a roll of dry toilet paper to be clean. You need water, and you need soap. I read only 10% of households in America have a bidet, and it’s a shame because paper alone won’t cut it.
