Headed to chaos

Headed to chaos

The most tragic and most disastrous failed state in the world, Philippines, is beyond certainty headed towards its own destruction.

Crime is at all time high as expected in a low trust individualistic society, inflation remained the highest in the world, political infighting between political camps thanks to democratic practices, the never ending internal threat of terrorism, ethnic tensions between the northerners and the southerners, extreme governmental incompetence and corruption, and external pressures still influence the country’s path to demise.

It’s still a miracle the Philippines somehow survived this year despite such misfortune.

It took two weeks, four thousand policemen, a thousand soldiers backed with tanks, artillery and aircraft, two CIA sorties, several false leads, unfathomable acts of police incompetence, and the presence of the suspect some hundred kilometers away from the incident who rather voluntarily surrendered himself to make this happen (thank God I can’t even stand this guy!)

Even China abandoned this abortive autocrat who used to cajole them for aid so he voluntary submitted himself so he could live in a solitary confinement in the world’s number one asylum haven, much to the joy of the Occident and its lovers who still refuse to believe that America and Israel’s kill count still far exceeded those of him by a magnitude of at least a thousand

The Philippine government actually spent roughly equal to billions of American dollars to build flood control projects such as these, only to fail. Talk about structural failures far worse than China’s weakest tofu dregs.

The Mindanaoan Moro rebels are on the rise again because the government failed to provide them the requisites for peace and livelihood. There are at least 15,000 of them. Ouch.

If one seriously thinks that China will stop its invasion of Philippine waters just because this happened, that person is delusional. It’s just a single Chinese coast guard ship among hundreds and they would stop at nothing until Philippines becomes a Chinese vassal state. China has the largest navy in the world and the oh so mighty Uncle Sam has proven totally unable to prevent these greedy imperials from seizing the whole sea for themselves.

This is how America treats its closest allies. This has been common practice ever since America’s betrayal, invasion, and subsequent genocide of the country in 1898. Seriously? Just a measly 1% decrease in tariffs despite importing computer software, business process outsourcing, and pesticides and seedlings from them?

The fact that the Philippine southerners are heavily discrimated and severely underrepresented on national terms aside from extremely impoverished due to being set aside from infrastructure development that mostly revolved around the capital, thanks largely to Spanish colonial legacy, should have given reason enough for them to invest their hopes on a political family as brutal as the Dutertes to uplift their lot instead of having to risk getting mocked and insulted and brutally lynched and murdered by the northerners on a daily basis while trying to earn livelihood in the worst capital city in the world.

Any event that will officially and totally tear this disaster of a country apart is just around the corner.
