I had chance to living in 4 different cities in France . My experience is pretty different as I lived in a Traditional French town named Blois, then I lived in Paris , then Antibes and now in Nice.
- You don’t need to worry about being sick, paying bills at hospital. Everything is done my insurance and you won’t pay much or most of the times nothing. For instance, I did my hand surgery in France and I didn’t pay anything !
2. You spend lot of time in Paper works ! Literally a lot !!!!. French commune is one of the hardest and slowest I ever experienced.
3. You have the luxury of eating the best pastries, cheese and wine !
4. Chance to experience the most touristic destinations in world. Paris : no comments needed ! While, Nice is famous for the magnificent Mediterranean coast and extremely preferred place to visit in Summer.
5. Live a tension free life ;) Once you have a full time job contract with indefinite duration , you have tons of benefits ! It’s pretty hard to fire you out of no where, even if you get fired the insurance will pay you for your living for 6 months.
6. You will start speaking English with ´french’ accent and start learning French.
7. You have chance to study in worlds best universities, if you come here for studies.
8. Experience the rich history, culture and strong spirit of nationalism !
9. Go for ski in the winter, beach in Summer, hiking during the rest of the time. You have the perfect blend of Alps and sea !
10. Visit the historic castles and monuments which you have studied in history lessons .
11. Live in one of the most open minded societies and you have a great privacy for your personal life.
I definitely missed a plenty ! But, i love living in France ;)
