Hitler’s sister Paula wrote an open letter praising Hitler while denouncing Germans who had capitulated to the allied occupation forces.

“Gentlemen, never forget this; your names will be forgotten even before your bodies have rotted away in the earth, but the name Adolf Hitler will still be a light in the darkness. You cannot murder him by drowning his memory in your sick buckets, and you cannot strangle him with your filthy, ink stained fingers.
His name exists forever in hundreds of thousands of souls. You are far too insignificant to even touch him. He loved Germany. He fretted over Germany, and when he fought for honor and respect, he fought for German honor and respect for Germany. And when there was nothing left, he gave his life for Germany.
What have you given so far? Which one of you would give his life for Germany? The only things you care about are riches, power, and never ending luxurious living. When you think of Germany, you think of without responsibility or care.
Trust me on this: the Fuhrer’s utter unselfishness in word and deed alone guarantees his immortality. The fact that the bitter fight for Germany’s greatness wasn’t crowned by success like Cromwell’s in Britain, for example, has a lot to do with the mentality of the people involved. On the one hand the Englishman’s character is essentially unfair, ruled by jealousy, self-importance, and lack of consideration. But he never forgets he is an Englishman, loyal to his crown. On the other hand, you with your need for recognition are never first and foremost a German. Therefore it doesn’t matter to you, you insignificant beings, if you destroy the entire nation. Your only guiding thought will always be me first, me second, me third. In your worthlessness you will never think of the welfare of the nation, and with that pitiful philosophy you wish to prevent the immortality of a giant?”

Interview with Hitler's sister on 5th June 1946 (oradour.info)
“I do not believe that my brother ordered the crime committed to innumerable human beings in the concentration - camps or that he even knew of these crimes. It may be possible however, that the hard years during his youth in Vienna caused his anti-Jewish attitude. He was starving severely in Vienna and he believed that his failure in painting was only due to the fact that trade in works of art was in Jewish hands.”
Interview with Paul Hitler by American interrogators in which Paula denied her brother ordered the killing of Jews. While it is factually true no order by Hitler ever existed. He did threaten to annihilate European Jewry if war was declared on Germany in speeches at the Reichstag. Hitler even confirmed this in his final will and testament shortly before committing suicide.
“Hitler was entertaining some very beautiful women at tea,” he said. “When he saw us he strode up, slashing a whip as he walked and taking the tops off the flowers. He took that occasion to warn me never again to mention that I was his nephew.”
At some point, the nephew allegedly threatened to reveal publicly that Hitler’s grandfather was Jewish – a popular story disproven by historians – if he wasn’t treated better.
“He was a bit of an opportunist as a young man,” said David Gardner, British author of a 2001 book about William, The Last of the Hitlers.
William Patrick Hitler attempted to blackmail his uncle Adolf Hitler. After Hitler gave him the brushoff the chancer sold his ‘secrets’ in a lie-filled book with the claim that Hitler’s grandfather was Jewish. The contrast between Hitler’s sister and nephew’s account couldn’t be any more different.
