In 1977, an Indian man named PK Mahanandia cycled 10,000 km from India to Sweden to marry a Swedish woman named Charlotte Von Schedvin. He sold everything he owned to buy a used bike for his 10,000-mile journey.

Now it's the couple, and yes, they are still married! :)
