The one that I follow and have been practising for over a month now is somewhat my own finding. I am certain it is derived from a particular meditation guide and practised somewhere, however I am not aware of this.
So the first thing I do is sit on a chair, rather than criss-crossing my legs in a lotus position on a yoga mat. I ensure that both my feet are slightly protruding outwards at an angle and are wider than my shoulder length. I close my eyes for a minute to clear my thoughts. Then I inhale with one nostril(left or right, up to you). While inhaling, and this is crucial, you should focus your breath on the tip of your nose and bring your stomach in action. Your tummy when engaged in breathing techniques, assists in an effective meditation strategy. Inhale all the way through, as much as you can, slowly. Then calmly exhale through your mouth, rather than your nostrils.
Repeat this 5–10 times on each nostril. Thereafter, engage both the nostrils, and repeat the above for 10 times. This is one effective way that I have found which helps you to find clarity, and develops patience, especially during your daily chores. Try this and see if it helps.
