A little kindness goes a long way. Why not repay it?

While waiting in line to pay for his groceries while maintaining a distance of 2 meters, this man skipped the line. He didn't seem to realize what he'd done.

The person who had jumped didn't say anything, but simply maintained the correct distance.

When it was time to pay, the man reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small notepad. He'd forgotten his wallet.

He looked a little disappointed and embarrassed. The person who had skipped the checkout came forward and told the cashier he would pay for his groceries (which consisted only of milk and chocolate chip cookies).

He was beyond grateful. He thanked them kindly and left.

Once she got to the checkout, the cashier asked: “He cut you off in line and you paid for his groceries... Why?”

“They replied calmly and with a smile: 'I hope that if one day my father forgot his wallet, someone would step up and buy him milk and cookies.'

With all the negativity in the world... I thought it would be nice to share this moment.

A little kindness goes a long way. Why not repay it?
