Is this another AI-generated nonsensical question?
Statistics say that France is the world’s most popular tourist destination. And France is holding the top sport for over 30 years.
And why?
EDIT:
I find it interesting that some commentators view countries in the same manner as football teams - love it or hate it. My favourite holiday country is not among the top ten in the world, so the numbers must be wrong!
To be sure, Portugal IS a beautiful country (I have been there, of course) but Portugal is simply not large enough to attract the same number of tourists as France, Spain, Italy or Turkey. France has not just the coast - it has several coasts, a huge inland and Paris! Nothing against Lisbon, but in terms of numbers of visitors, Paris attracts a multiple of Lisbon.
The question was about popularity. Popularity is not a matter of personal preference, it is a matter of sober statistics. And I tried to show you the things behind the numbers.
