Both are gorgeous travel destinations. There is no debate about that and you cannot say one has more to offer than the other. (I am sure that in the comments there will be some people who want to fight for “their” country.)
Let’s start with scenic beauty. France certainly is more diverse because it has more climate zones and the Atlantic Coast while Italy is, besides of the Alps (which both countries share), more Mediterranean (France has also Mediterranean coast and landscape, but more in addition to that).
