What do you think about the 97.5% Chinese vote against accepting refugees from the Middle East?

In the Netherlands, a 17-year-old girl just got ripped apart, Jack the Ripper style.

The culprit? A 22-year-old refugee. He was staying at a state-run asylum center, and he committed two additional assaults earlier in August, on two different occasions. Naturally, the country is up in arms, now. Politicians are angry, people are upset… but I don’t expect much will happen. It rarely does. Europeans seem to love talking more than taking action, sadly.

Now as to China? China doesn’t like to accept refugees. And no, there hasn’t been any “vote” — China doesn’t have a public referendum, nor does China have elections. But studying social media does show an overwhelming consensus that the average China person does not want to welcome refugees in their midst.[1] We’re talking well over 90% of Chinese people being dead-set against allowing foreigners in, especially if they’re Middle Eastern refugees. They feel they’re fundamentally incompatible with their way of life…

…and looking at incidents in Europe, from Sweden to England, the Netherlands and Germany, it’s hard not to see their point as perfectly valid? There is a pretty major problem with surging crime in communities housing a large number of refugees — many of these people come from war zones, are heavily traumatized, not to mentioning hailing from regions of the world that disrepect women like it’s an Olympic game. It’s a recipe for disaster.
