Ok So I’m going to share my 2 cents with you, I've been to Thailand like 5 times already and these are some of the most memorable experiences I've had.
If you’re entering Thailand through its north border, at Nongkhai, you have to make some time to go see Sala Keoku Park, definitely one of the strangest parks there is.
There is a very similar park in Vientiane, Lao (They were both built by the same person) Old Gods In Vientiane
When in Bangkok, make sure you visit Chatuchak weekend market is full of vendors, stores, restaurants, souvenirs, and even a bar where they play electronic music and cook paella, right in the middle of a Thai local market.
Go have dinner in the skies, Bangkok is full of Rooftop Bars, my favorite one is Vertigo and Moon Bar on the 61st floor of Banyan Tree Hotel, you’ll get a 360 view of the city, and you can either just have drinks or book a table and have dinner, expect it to be very pricey though.
Visit Erawan shrine, although small in size it attracts many locals and tourists, it is very interesting to see how locals express their faith.
Take a flight to Phuket and stay at a beachfront hotel, Marriot Resort and Spa on Merlin Beach is a good option as is further south of the island, a bit away from Patong, which means you’ll get to see sunsets like this, with almost no crowd at all.
Do some Kayaking around Phang Nga Bay, it’s really cool, you can go inside caves and even see small fish swimming around you
Go to an Elephant sanctuary to learn about how they save and take care of elephants, you can pet them, bathe them, and feed them, no one is allowed to ride them, PLEASE DO NOT RIDE ELEPHANTS IS ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST AWFUL THINGS YOU CAN DO, AND DON’T GO TO ELEPHANT SHOWS EITHER, IF YOU DO YOU’RE ONLY PROMOTING VIOLENCE AGAINST THESE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES
Visit the sanctuary of truth in Pattayha, a Buddhist temple that was built completely out of wood and honestly looks like something out of this world.
Oh , get a photo at James Bond Island.
Hope my answer helps
Best,
