Don't people in China wish to live in a democratic country?

As a Chinese maybe I can share my view.

This is my hometown Chengdu, one of two biggest city in the West of China.

I’m now living in Atlanta for my bachelor degree. Comparing with American city I don’t think there’s any difference except we don’t have homeless on the street. (I don’t know why, but I tell the truth)

I can get my favorite food within 20 Dollars in a mall.

I love hiking. On weekends, Driving for several hours to enter the east part of Tibet plateau. Then you can enjoy the breathtaking views and enjoy the nature.

What I wrote above is order to claim one thing: I don’t care whether I live a democratic life, I do care whether I live a happy life.

I don’t care who will be the president,I do care whether my city is clean and safe, whether I can get my favorite foods with a cheap price, whether I can spend my spare time happily.

Additionally, as you can see during the last 70 years China has changed so much.Including economy, education, medicine, national defense and social security and so on.

Don't you think a party with a long-term plan that has been in power for 70 years and has made outstanding achievements is more trustworthy?

We did make our choice in 1949, and we keep it so far.
