Early morning stomach is full of acid and bile manufactured by lining of stomach and liver all through the night while we're sleeping and trying to digest foods eaten during dinner time
This acid collection in the stomach needs to be washed out to proceed further towards small intestine.
Food pipe is about 6 feet long, maybe taller than you and longest is small intestine, rolled up in abdominal cavity, moving constantly without hitting self or other organs in the abdominal cavity
Bag of stomach has 2 locks, one in upper segment so that foods don't go up towards esophagus causing acid reflux and regurgitation
Other lock is at lower end of stomach so that foods which have been ground well and mixed with stomach juices do go down to feets long small intestine after being helped by juices and grinder in stomach helping the digestive process.
Remember stomach is a bag which is highly elastic and gets full faster than believed but emptying may take up to 4 hours and it's easier to empty stomach bag if fat fee simple liquids like water are added on this, empty stomach.
Never use cold drinks on empty stomach because of quicker absorption and delayed emptying of cold drinks which are at lesser temperature than our body temperature.
Stomach needs to be restful during early morning hours and loading with heavy foods or too light and cold foods will definitely cause acidity related issues that stays with you for life
Use warm water as first drink in the morning
If you don't like plain warm water, put a spoon of honey which is antiseptic and moisturizer too..diabetes too can take half spoon of honey in a glass of plain warm water ( just 15 calories)
If you don't like warm water you can take green tea
If you don't like fancy teas, make your tea your way, using ginger etc but little milk, cow's milk has no Malai making digestion easier
Digestion starts from mouth and saliva also helps to digest foods
Do brushing after drinking water in any form.
