What is a sin? It's something we supposedly do consciously that leaves a bad mark on our record for a deity to look at and decide if we deserve a decent afterlife or not. The key word here being “consciously.”
Homosexuality or heterosexuality isn't something we consciously do. We realize one day that we are attracted to a specific gender. No one chooses to be homosexual any more than someone chooses to be heterosexual. If homosexuality were an actual sin, then that would mean that the creator purposely made people who can't help but be sinners, as opposed to making the choice to sin.
Look at nature. Pretty much every species have same-sex coupling going on. Those couples aren't shunned by their peers for being unnatural. Animals don't have a concept of what is right or wrong, so they can't possibly sin. But there it is, right in front of us, an example of same-sex love in nature. Why would a loving creator allow this if it were a sin?
No. Homosexuality isn't a sin. If anything is a sin, it would be homophobia.
