The answers as usual are weird (people claiming it isn’t possible etc).
Yet in reality, she literally was arrested in Indonesia and then deported back to the Philippines where she is in custody in the Philippines.
So the chances are 100%, it literally happened. BTW Indonesia isn’t that interested in letting Chinese spies (wanted criminals) use their country as a safe haven, contrary to what Wumao claim.
I will say Alice Guo is a strange woman though.
In the above photo, Filipino NBI agents (Filipino equivalent of the FBI) received her from the Indonesian authorities, and are taking her to the airport to fly back to the Philippines.
Why is Alice so happy? That seems odd to me, once she gets back to the Philippines she faced prosecution and likely imprisonment.
The fact that she is so happy, it makes me think she believes she will be able to have her Chinese connections bribe her out of custody or prison in the Philippines, and she will just “escape” again. It is clear she doesn’t feel like she is at serious risk of losing her freedom.
It’s hard to say what will happen ultimately, I have seen people like Guo escape almost every time if they are under arrest within a country that has a lot of poorer people (who can easily be bribed to let her do another escape).
