Overrated cities where tourists do not want to return

In the world there are cities with a developed tourism infrastructure, to which people, having been there once, then do not want to return. The mines of these cities outweigh the pros.

I myself would not return to many places where I visited. They did not live up to expectations. I made for you a selection of the most overrated cities in the world, where tourists are not in a hurry again.

Bangkok

There are a lot of pleasant places to relax in Thailand, but Bangkok leaves a double impression. On the one hand — a modern and progressive city. And on the other — garbage on the streets, dysfunctional areas, crowds, noise, din, chaotic traffic.

Street food in the Thai capital is more likely to be disliked by tourists than to cause delight. The main streets of the city are filled with fun youth. There are almost no quiet places for the evening promenade.

Paris

Surprisingly, the dreams of many travelers about Paris are shattered as soon as they get there. “See Paris and die! ” — this is no longer relevant.

The main city of France has become dirty and untidy. Migrants walk in Paris in droves, overshadowing the French culture of their own. Now in Paris it has become very unsafe to walk the streets alone early in the morning and late in the evening.

Sena has become an incredibly littered and even dangerous river for human health. Riots happen too often in Paris, rats run under their feet, and cars burn at night. Despite all the cons, so many tourists aspire to the French capital that the lines to the main attractions are grandiose.

Mumbai

Traffic on roads and sidewalks in Mumbai can scare unprepared tourists. Road traffic in a randomly built-up city is huge.

Mumbai — is a pretty dirty city. Access to attractions is difficult, as not all major tourist destinations are in the city center.

This city is also very overpopulated. There is an endless push on the streets. And it's pretty hard to get used to it. Due to the chaotic development of beauty in Mumbai, there are few problems with infrastructure.

Miami

A tourist mecca like Miami can also leave an unpleasant impression. Miami hears an unreasonably expensive city where tourists with a modest budget may feel uncomfortable.

Miami still has little historical architecture, but many modern buildings, which, sometimes, do not please the eye. When planning a trip to Miami, it is worth remembering that the city with its shops and restaurants is designed for the rich. For everyone else, there is quite little entertainment. Although Miami beaches are famous for their beauty.

Rimini

The Italian city of Rimini both fascinates and so easily disappoints tourists. There is an affectionate Adriatic Sea, there are ancient attractions, but many places in Rimini have come to such desolation as if it were not Italy at all.

Still tourists remain unhappy after visiting Fiabilandia. This amusement park can impress few people. Like the city itself, the park has long been in need of major repairs. Much of its territory looks decrepit and unmatched.

Cairo

Dirt and trash — is one of Egypt's main problems. Even in this ancient city, tourists do not like deceiving sellers and pickpockets that scurry around.

Some travelers claim that the legendary pyramids are too close to the city. Some of the rooms of local hotels at this attraction offer wonderful views. But what is there to complain about?

Los angeles

After visiting Los Angeles, tourists note that the City of Angels did not appear before them as it was shown in American films.

In the City, dreams of travelers tire of long distances. They also remain unhappy with the poor work of public transport. Many tourists fall into a stupor when they see how many homeless people in Los Angeles who sleep and eat right on the streets. There are many homeless people even on the famous Walk of Fame. From this, the local attraction loses all charm.

Venice

The stench from the water in the — canals is not the main problem of the Italian city. Here's a high crime rate starting to seem like a more complex problem in Venice. But even this does not end in negative impressions of the city.

There are too many tourists during the tourist season in Venice. Near the sights do not push through. And the prices in local hotels and cafes in the summer are such that from their appearance, travelers with a modest budget begin to twitch their eyes. Unjustifiably expensive. And poor infrastructure.

Salisbury

Salisbury Town in England is famous mainly for being a cult for the British Stonehenge 13 km from it. At the same time, visiting those places, tourists complain that they drove them along barely noticeable paths to look at a pile of stones. And in Salisbury itself, and obviously, there’s nothing to look at.

The tourist infrastructure around the ancient facility is not landscaped. People call the excursion to Stonehenge boring and unremarkable.

Rome

The eternal city is focused on preserving ancient attractions. Maybe that's why no one has been paying attention to the mountains of garbage on the streets, as well as to obsessive advertising among antiquities for a long time. The infrastructure of the Eternal City is developing poorly, public transport is in decline. European tourists rarely return to Rome again. The Eternal City has a lot of problems.

Garbage heaps in Rome can be seen even at his pearl — Coliseum. One gets the feeling that the utilities in the city do not work at all or work through the sleeves. And in terms of crime, Rome is not the safest European city. At night, it’s better not to walk there alone. After all, banal theft — is the smallest thing that happens in Rome with single tourists.

In fact, in every city in the world there are advantages and disadvantages. Everything is subjective and depends on the perception of the person who visited a particular place. And in which city would you never return again?
