What are the symptoms of dementia?

I had mild dementia three years ago because I took too many NSAIDs for arthritis I had iNPH or idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus.

The condition developed slowly over 23 years before friends said I was “not behaving the way I used to”. They were not kidding but I did not do much about it then. Simultaneously, I was seeing one neurologist for TIAs I was having after taking VIOXX for only 9 to 12 months. After he left the HMO, another neurologist followed me for 2 yrs before she figured it out.

All I can say is that dementia is a slowly developing condition that really makes a mess out of your life. I started having problems walking, balancing, and urinary incontinence. My mind was not working well because now, 3.5 yrs after the operation to put a shunt in my head, I can see how poorly I organized work, how clumsy I was in social conditions, and how susceptible I was to scammers

I hope I have answered enough to get you started!

Btw: Over thanksgiving a friend’s mother-in-law told me I was doing much better.
