Here are some key tips which may help you to maintain health as you age:
- Sleep well;
- Train as much as you can, appeal to physical possibilities;
- Eat enough food but exclude too greasy food and do not forget about vitamins and supplements;
- Have regular sex;
- Drink water;
Do your best to get rid of unhealthy habits such as drinking and smoking;
I suppose that these are primary things which you need to do if you want to stay healthy and minimize the impact of aging on your body. In fact, the damage coming from aging is inevitable, meaning that you will be anyway getting negative consequences of doing something, because when you are aging, the organism perceives everything more and more seriously. When you are 25 you can easily lift heavy weights even if you do not exercise because your body is flexible enough. When you turn 50, once you lift heavy weights, you may easily lay in the bed for the whole next week because of a serious back pain. The organism loses this flexibility.
Stretching is a way out from this situation because stretching helps the organism to remain flexible and movable.
All in all, just take into account those things I mentioned in the beginning and think of stretching as a means for keeping the body flexible. Do not forget about mental health, which also succumbs to a variety of factors which do not let you age well. Stress can be reduced by various techniques like yoga and meditation, regular ones.
