Why is there enmity between snake and mongoose?

Snake and mongoose are natural enemies of each other because both are hunters and compete for their territory. Their territory is very important for both. The snake preys on the children of the mongoose, so the mongoose is always ready to fight with the snake.

Reasons for enmity:

• Both snake and mongoose are hunters and hunt to satisfy their hunger.
• Territory is very important for both.
• Mongoose especially considers the snake a big threat to its children.
• The snake attacks the mongoose to save itself.
• At the same time, the mongoose also kills the snake so that it can save itself.

Why does the mongoose not die from the snake's poison :

• The mongoose has a special acetylcholine reflex inside its body, due to which the mongoose is saved from the neurotoxin present inside the snake's poison.
• Alpha and beta blockers present in the mongoose's DNA prevent the venom from causing harm.
