The maps don’t lie. Let us take a look at the number of mosques in France, right now. In 1975, France had a whole of 8(!) mosques only. In 2025? There are 2600 of them.
We can call this colonialism. Or we can call it whatever the hell else you want to call it. Fact remains that Islam doesn’t “colonize” exactly the same way Western Christians did, historically — it mostly just moves in a lot of people, who continue to adhere to their own beliefs. Those who marry into the faith, join it by default. Their children, then, become Muslims as well. Rinse, repeat. A few generations down the line, the very fabric of a nation is altered. Sometimes beyond recognition.
Muslims initially only took parts of Portugal, Spain, parts of France and Sicily, too. This was done through conquest. Now, colonization is done by faith. By marriage. My immigration. It is a lot more subtle. But far more effective. The Ottomans failed… but their physical and spiritual descendants succeed today with a new strategy.
