Are there really columns deep beneath the Egyptian pyramids?

No, the reason that location was chosen was because it has solid bedrock and was close enough to the Nile to allow installation of canals for direct delivery of the blocks from the quarries.

We know this because there are a significant number of failed pyramid projects to the south, and the changes to designs after each failure were clear and easily determined.

For example, some of the first pyramids began sinking into the sand, so the design switched to stepped pyramids that had lighter upper sections to reduce overall weight.

And the older pyramids are constructed of much smaller bricks that can be carried by hand. This resulted in the structures partially collapsing as the sand underneath sank.

This failed to address the sinking problem, so the following pyramids were built on bedrock and with far larger blocks instead of bricks.

These failed pyramids provide somewhat detailed records of who was responsible for the development of pyramid construction methods, which disproves the claims that the pyramids were built by aliens.

The huge number of failed pyramids document in detail the development history of pyramids and who created them.
