What does a 30% black 70% white person look like?

Pretty much like Meghan Markle.

Her mother is black, but with significant white admixture. And her father is fully caucasian. The end result is a woman who looks mixed to the point where no one who isn’t a 19th century mint julep sipping plantation owner from Louisiana would call her black.

Of course it is possible for a person to be 30% black and still look closer to the dark African phenotype than someone of a higher percentage of black ancestry, but typically when a bloodline is watered down to such a degree, the white genes would begin to take over in such a way that very little of the dark ancestry remains. This is seen in the fact that, for instance, Meghan Markle’s children inherited their father’s red hair.

There are always going to be individual differences, of course, but typically a person who is only 30% black (or asian, or white for that matter) will look more like whatever else the remaining 70% is made up of. Genetics, like so much else in life, is ultimately a numbers game.
