Swelling of feet

In general, swelling of the feet may seem like a minor problem. But when the swelling persists and persists, don't take it for granted. That could be a sign of a serious problem. If it also causes fluid build-up in the lower limbs and swelling, it may be a sign of heart failure.

Especially women are more likely to face swollen feet. Because there are more hormonal changes in their body. Also during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, final menstruation etc. there is a lot of change in hormones and as a result fluid accumulates in the legs leading to swelling. This swelling is especially around the ankles.

Pain in the ankle

If you experience constant pain in the ankle, it could be arthritis/gout. This arthritic problem is caused by the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints of the feet and ankles. Inflammation of the joints in the ankle due to arthritis causes severe pain and stiffness. So if you experience severe pain in the ankle, it means that you have an arthritis problem.

Tingling and numbness in feet

Do your feet often go numb? Also experiencing excessive shyness? So don't take it for granted. It could be a sign of nerve damage. Generally, this kind of problem occurs more in diabetic patients. Because when the blood sugar level is high, at some point it can severely damage the nerves and as a result, you will face more problems like numbness and tingling in your feet.

Spider veins

Spider veins are small dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin. These are often purple, red or blue in color. Usually these spider veins are harmless. But these veins can be a sign of chronic circulation problems. These spider veins can develop in the legs and feet due to diseases such as chronic venous insufficiency. It can also be caused by liver failure or estrogen dominance.

Heel spurs

If you stand for a long time, due to obesity, heel cracks can spoil the beauty of the feet. But beyond that, it can also occur with hypothyroidism.

Cold feet

If the feet feel cold even in hot weather, there may be circulation or nerve related problems. And if a person is iron deficient or anemic, the person's feet will be cold. Apart from this, diabetes, hypothyroidism etc can also be the reasons for this.

Heel pain

Experiencing severe pain in heels? If so it may be due to a persistent plantar fasciitis caused by inflammation of the tissue that connects the heel and toes. Apart from this, deficiency of potassium and sodium in the body can also cause pain in the heels.
