These days your mid to late 90’s is about what's achievable these days my grandfather on my mothers side is still alive at 96 years of age, my grandfather on my dads side died a few weeks before his 98 th birthday so he was 97 when he died, his auntie died 15 years prior to him in 2002 at 96 years of age, his wife & my grandmother whose on my dads side of the family died at 91 years of age from pneumonia, her immune system was shot & she didn't recover from infections very easily.
So around the 90–100 year mark is a good age for a person to live to in this day and age, I can remember when my grandfather on my mothers side was talking about how in his parents day when they retired at the age of 55 here in Australia , a lot of them died within a few years of retiring, so the advancements in technology &; medicine 💊 💉 has likely prolonged peoples lives.
The current retirement age in Australia is 65 (the legal age to be able to receive the aged pension is 67 however) & there has been talks of bumping it up to 70 at one stage so peoples life expectancy is obviously increasing at an older age now, my grandmother on my mothers side of the family is one of them who died of cancer a few weeks before her 77th birthday 🎈 🎂, while she didn't smoke or anything like that, she died of liver cancer, people who I knew died of lung cancer due to smoking 🚬 or passive smoking 🚬 during their early to mid 70’s !
