It’s very hard in titanical proportion.

In my 32 years of living in the Philippines and born here you won’t have any problems if you have money, if your parents are rich you won’t have any problems unless of course situational private life event.

To be Filipino and born Filipino is equally hard, especially if you do not have access to some privileges only people with money can buy.

  • Education will not guarantee you a dream job or the life you want for the next coming years lest you are doomed if you are among the Filipinos who can’t afford it. Every year there is new batch of graduates and not many jobs is waiting for you, you will be forced to worked in the most well known malls as cashiers, baggers, and even low paying minimum wages. So while you are at it, decide and plan for your future, don’t settle in your degree it won’t guarantee you quick sure fire way launching your career. You start from the bottom like the bottom feeders like the normal ones. Unless your family is rich and got connections you have a safety network to come back from. To add if you want to be a happy Filipino in Philippines be born rich or get rich which many just can’t do.
  • There is a lot of discrepancy when it comes to basic human needs and rights in this country, being a Filipino in the Philippines. If you heard that issue of NEDA saying 21 pesos means Filipinos are “not food poor anymore” will make you hate and cursed this country more, you will surely start hating to be born Filipino. This political issues we see daily on tv and mainstream will only embolden your hate for being Filipino, so many useless and inept government agencies and institution that get funding in billions but never really gave any lasting impact in this country and The Filipino People. In fact it only made the lives of ordinary Filipinos more horrific. Never trust a Government Officials, The police, heck all of them! Even the people who are in high office is mired in Corruption.
  • Age Discrimination - Older People can’t get a job
  • Not Senior Citizen Friendly
  • Not Person with Disability Friendly
  • Need a degree as bagger, cashier, and low paying jobs for a friggin degree.
  • Outdated Systems and Outdated Thinking.
  • Don’t believe the employment rate and unemployment rate they dish out because its a sham. With the NEDA issue and a lot of scandals you see in the Senate Hearing. Always doubt the government.
  • Unending Poverty and Corruption is Prevalent.

So if you see a good looking Pinoy/Pinay Influencer showcasing their good lives it doesn’t reflect the lifestyles of the normal ordinary majority of Filipinos.
