The harpy eagle.

These guys are the apex predators of their environment. Their diet consists of just about everything in the jungle. Sloths, monkeys, and other mammals are their main targets. They've also been known to kill livestock. Harpy eagles are the largest species of eagle and one of the largest birds of prey. Their most noticeable trait would be the amount of power they have in their talons. Harpy eagles have a grip strength of over 520 psi, which is stronger than the bite of a cheetah and over twice that of a pit bull, giving them the ability to crush the skull of their prey.

Their feet are also equipped with talons that can be over 5 inches long. To put that in perspective, that's about the same length as a grizzly bear’s claws.

Harpies have some of the best vision in the animal kingdom, being able to spot a small monkey moving through the trees from over 600 feet away. Additionally, they have wings that allow them to fly almost silently. Using that advantage, they typically snatch their prey straight out of the tree.
