Is there a universal truth about money that is commonly accepted? If so, why would anyone ignore it?

One universal truth about money? It makes unattractive people suddenly attractive. Look at Harvey Weinstein below with his now ex-wife… she was an actress and model named Georgina Chapman and she was about thirty years younger than him. The couple had two daughters.

Had Weinstein not been rich, would she ever have even looked his way with anything other than disgust or disdain? I mean, maybe, if he was her father or a neighbor with a heart of gold she’d have been fond of him… but attraction? Don’t count on it. But as powerful movie producer and movie mogul with hundreds of millions of dollars on the bank, she was suddenly able to overlook both his repulsive appearance as well as his repulsive behavior (he was a notorious serial rapist and this was a very badly kept secret in Hollywood)…

Everyone always falls over one another backwards to make excuses for shameless golddiggers. “Oh, maybe he’s got a great personality!” No. Incredibly successful people are often rather ruthless and sociopathic on top of rather old (it frequently takes decades to truly make it to the big leagues). Money is the only thing that makes such a person attractive. Same with the “toy boys” of rich women like Cher — dollar bills in the eyes, baby. Don’t lie.
