How poor is Philippines compared to the Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia?

Profile photo for Julius Rockefeller Rosenberg Ackermann

It's actually the fourth poorest after Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Timor Leste. I wanted to write an article on how the mentality of peoples and democracy correlate, and a socialist-like economic model would fit cultures in the tropics, but that would sound too ridiculous for political analysts, anthropologists, and sociologist. Even if the country’s government fed these people the best solution they could think of, it will still go downhill because of its slum-derived culture

 .

It was once part of the Tiger Cub economies but culture steered it away from its chance to become a rapidly fast growing economy. Yet FDIs were discouraged and seem to be avoiding the country because its culture promotes thievery, deception, and ignorance all under one name: diskarte.

A country indeed bereft of morality.
