It is a combination of looks, body language, mental and physical health, and the way you dress and last but not least grooming.
So secret is to take care of all.
- Looks: it's all about what eye sees. if one observe closely the difference between a young looking person and old looking person, it is probably a tight skin vs loose and wrinkled skin, full hair vs less hair, white vs colored hairs. And youthful hairstyle vs old school hairstyle (and/or beard) so on and So forth. So if you manages to take care of all these, it will definitely helps in looking younger than your age. Keep your skin hydrated, color your hair, keep trendy hair style. Or if you have thinning hair, keep a short and neat hair cut. People mostly ignore, frequent hair cut is a key.
- Mental and physical health: mental health no question is now considered to be even more important than physical health. If a person is mentally at peace and have a a positive perspective of life it shows on face. Worried you looks older than happy you. No doubt about it. Laugh frequently
- Exercise and weight: exercise keeps your body young and helps you sustain agile body language, better body proportion and muscle mass that make one look younger. Believe me, whatever you do, all kind of grooming, skin care, good dressing sense etc etc. can't make you look young if you are overweight. For example it makes your jaw line disappear that plays an important role in looking young.
- Dress: no matter how young you look by your face and body language, if you haven't given up on the fashion choices that used to be trendy 20 years back, it will make you look old. It worth mentioning here that when you exercise and keep your weight in check, you can carry any dress very well, made for guys fifteen, twenty years younger than you, without looking awkward. Instead it makes you look cool, attractive and yes young!
- Grooming: when we were young we didn't have hair peeking out of nose or hair protruding from ears or eye brows growing larger. So keep them neatly cut. It brings a sudden change in looks.
- As I said, it's all what eye see. Unkempt white hair, plumpy body and poor dressing make you look older. Dress must be properly fit your torso
- No exercise, bad eating habits, smoking, alcohol, negative perspective of life, dressing, grooming all contributes to how you look.

- This is my last year picture. I was 46. But honestly speaking I don't look that young all the time. Age takes its toll. Get a little lazy in grooming or fitness or dressing and it quickly shows.
