THE FULLER BUILDING IN 1903.

It was finished in 1903, and some New Yorkers were making bets on how far the debris would go when the wind toppled it. But over a century after its construction, the Flatiron remains an urban masterpiece that continues to dazzle.

It was dubbed the "Flat Iron Building" is located at the confluence of 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City.

With 22 floors, this triangular storey building (or ship's bow and 285 feet) reaches 86 meters by 86 cm tall, and its rounded end is only 2 meters wide.

It's one of the city's oldest skyscrapers and has been designated a New York City Landmark and National Historic.

Even today walking alongside him can cause amazement not quite different from what would have felt by passers-by at the beginning of the last century.
