How busy is the busiest railway line in the world?

If you are counting metro lines as railway lines, it’s the Lille metro. Lille is in France on the Eurostar route between London and Paris.

Lille metro is fully automated and has 55 trains per hour or one ever 66 seconds.

Victoria Line in London operates every 100 secs during peak hours.

If you are not counting metro lines, then it’s the Tokkaido Shinkansen line that runs from Tokyo to Osaka through Nagoya and Kyoto which runs 16 trains per hour during peak times.
