Mohammad SAW had many issues in Mecca. In Mecca Mohammad plundered the Caravan goods that was passing Mecca heading to Syria, Lebanon and Iran. Most of the Caravans were destinatinated to Iran. Mohamnad and his companions attack and plunder the caravans which are the businesses of the Quraish. The scribes and the Muslims scholars explained later that Quraish was against Islam. There was no Islam in those days, there was stories about Islam by Mohammad. Mohammad wasn't famous, and Islam was unknown. Mohammad didn't call the religion he introducedvto world as Islam somebody else made the name Islam much later on after Mohammad. Mohammad was busy with his own businesses plundering and slaveries. The Arabs kept the slavery until 1970.
Abu Sufyan was one of the important character in departure of Mohammad to Madinah. During the time of Mohammad, the head of the Quraish clan was Abu Sufyan ibn Harb. He played a significant role in the early conflicts between the Quraish which Initially an opponent of Muhammad. As he knew about Mohammad well. He didn't convert to Islam for Allah SWT but he knew that he can get huge profit by using Islam. His son plot a plan and murderer Hasan and Hussein bin Ali for the future profit Muhawiyah can earn. From Rashidun Calipth to Abbasid Calipth they were busy looking for Jizyah. These Calipth were different from Kingdoms who were looking for their people welfare. The Calipth didn't have people to be taken care, they were like Hezbollah or Hamas today. They looked for their own welfare by exploiting Islam and Quran together with Allah SWT. The Muslims like to boast about Islam golden ages. There is nothing like golden age in Islam except Ottoman Empire, yet Ottoman also was defeated like Daniel had predicted thru Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.
Mohammad history was rewritten by many scholars to make Islam as a religion. They need to patch up all the flaws, still they can not make Mohammad look more pius. Too much to patch. In the hadist Mohammad looked more ridicolous. Mohammad had to flee Mecca as it was Abu Sufyan strategy to keep Mohammad away from his businesses. Abu Sufyan knew Mohammad was a fake prophet but he was smart enough to use Islam to make himself rich. All Mohammad activities were made as Islamic history. Mohammad didn't leave Mecca with hundred of deciples, there were no muslims in Mohammad time, no mosques, no Quran, no history of Islam, those who knew about Islam were the wives of Mohammad, his companions, his camels and his donkeys. Nothing more nothing less. Mohammad chose Madinah since there were no other cities to be visited. Badr and Ta'if were too small to be considered. In Quean there is no Surah about Allah SWT instructing Mohammad to move to Madinah to spread Islam. In Islam It's called Hijjrah.
Mohammad SAW was chased out of the city, not as a hero, but as a victim of humiliation and prejudice.
