Now, what about the dosage of vitamin D consumption?
The recommended daily intake of Vitamin D varies, such as:
- Adults (19-70 years): 600–800 IU (15–20 mcg) daily.
- Elderly (70+): 800 IU (20 mcg) daily.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women: 600–800 IU daily.
These are the recommended daily intake.
Although, for a better understanding, you can do a medical check-up to see how much vitamin D you should get.
