How will Russian President Putin handle the peace negotiations with Ukraine?

Vladimir Putin isn’t a legitimate president of Russia — he’s a dictator who killed or imprisoned all his opponents who haven’t fled the country, and nothing positive can be expected from his handling of the peace negotiations with Ukraine — in fact, Putin refuses to negotiate with Ukraine directly and instead demands to negotiate with the U.S., because, according to Russia, the war in Ukraine is a “proxy war” of the U.S. against Russia.

So, any demands that Putin makes in these “peace negotiations” are not to Ukraine.

Any demands that Putin makes are the concessions that Putin demands from the U.S.

And once the U.S. makes these concessions, Putin expects the U.S. to be able to enforce these concessions on Ukraine — because Putin doesn’t see Ukraine as a sovereign country.

And that’s the point of Putin’s negotiations with Trump: Putin needs to beat up Trump into pressuring the Ukrainians to surrender to Russia — and then Putin plans to topple the current Ukrainian government by raising resentment among the Ukrainians on the massive concessions they were forced to make by the U.S.

The more the U.S. imposes itself on Ukraine, the higher will be the resentment among the population, which is already bleeding after the 3 years of the full-scale war.

The imposition includes:

  • Trump’s demanding $350 billion from Ukraine, which never were actually sent to Ukraine by the U.S. — the actual value of delivered aid is about only ~$60 billion (even at inflated values for old equipment, it’s not more than $115 billion — that’s 3 times less). And these were grants — Ukraine would choose different weapons if they were buying them. The U.S. mostly sent to Ukraine outdated/old weapons they would have to soon destroy.
  • Trump’s demanding elections in Ukraine and calling Zelenskyy a “dictator”. The Ukrainian Constitution prohibits elections during wartime — Trump demands from the Ukrainians to breach the Constitution.
  • Trump’s demanding Ukraine to sign off 50% of its resources and infrastructure to the U.S. These demands make the U.S. look like as a vulture flying over wounded Ukraine.
  • Trump’s refusing to deliver on agreements signed by previous governments: the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, under which the U.S. promised to guarantee Ukraine’s security in exchange to giving up her nukes; the bilateral security agreement, signed in June 2024, under which the U.S. promised to ensure Ukraine’s acceptance to NATO and continuous military aid.
  • And now, Trump’s administration also demands control over the Ukrainian nuclear power stations. Obviously, that’s a demand by the Kremlin.

Evidently, Putin wants Trump to take control of 3 Ukrainian nuclear power plants, so that Ukraine could never use the waste material (Plutonium) to make a nuclear weapon.

This is, once again, Russia trying to forever disarm Ukraine.

It’s also likely that the nuclear plants will be transferred under control of someone from Trump’s entourage — could be Vance, Thiel, Musk, or Karp — the techno-fascists seeking to rule the world.

Also, considering that nuclear power is the main source of the generation of electricity in Ukraine, whoever owns the nuclear power stations will be able to set any enslaving tariffs — or shut down most of the Ukrainian cities.

The demand was presented by the White House press-secretary as a “guarantee of security for the Ukrainian energy network” — yeah, sure, like the intel-sharing or military aid by the U.S., very reliable.

So, the current situation in the “peace negotiations” is as follows:

  • Putin has rejected a ceasefire 3 times.
  • Putin continues to openly mock Trump.
  • After 2 months of post-inauguration negotiations (and 2.5 months post-election), there has been no progress whatsoever.
  • But Trump and his sycophants insist that everything is going great, claiming non-existent “breakthroughs”.
  • Now Witkoff says that the ceasefire is just “2 weeks away.”

The Trump administration also began erasing the evidence of Russian genocide in Ukraine — basically, becoming co-conspirators in destroying the Ukrainian statehood and identity.

Reportedly, the USA may have eliminated evidence related to the abduction of 35,000 Ukrainian children by Russia.

"We have reason to believe that the data from the repository has been permanently deleted. If true, this would have devastating consequences,” report participants of the research program that was tracing kidnapped Ukrainian kids, to be able to return them to Ukraine.

The program was terminated by Musk’s DOGE, and all the files appear to have been deleted from the servers.

This is participation in Putin’s genocide against the Ukrainians.

The Kremlin-controlled administration of the White House is now the force that’s pressuring the Ukrainians to submit to Russia.

While a lot of Americans are still in denial that their country is being taken over by a hostile coup, the larger share of the Western world — and half of the U.S. — are realizing the clear and present danger.

The fact that Ukraine and her European allies keep mute on the U.S. coup shows that the real decisions are made behind closed doors with no public announcements.

  • We know what Putin wants — control over Ukraine.
  • We know what the White House wants — good relations with Russia, so they will do whatever Putin demands, to pressure Ukraine into an unfavorable “peace agreement” with Russia.
  • We know what Europe wants — keep Russia within her borders, unable to invade or threaten its neighbors.
  • We know what Ukraine wants — retain its independence and sovereignty.

These are the powers that directly influence the outcome of “peace negotiations” to settle the war in Ukraine.

And the last but not least: Russia can end this war any time by simply withdrawing its troops from the occupied Ukrainian territory.

Putin doesn’t order this, because Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants to make sure that Ukraine no longer exists. Putin wants to erase Ukraine forever.
