Ken Morrish, 72, found this apple on his Golden Delicious tree that is exactly half green and half red.
When Ken Morrish picked this apple from a tree in his backyard, he thought a prankster had painted half of it red.
But after inspecting it closely, he realized that the striking split colors in the fruit were a natural phenomenon.
Experts say the odds of finding an apple with such a perfect line between green and red are more than 1 million to one.
The apple was tested at Bicton Ariculture College and experts believe it is a very rare genetic mutation.
While horticulturists say the apple's coloration is likely due to a random genetic mutation.
