Who are China's closest and most important allies?

When talking about Chinese friends, many people will mention Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Pakistan and other countries! If you think so, then let me tell you, your opinion is absolutely right or wrong!

You may immediately refute, I am not wrong, and the country’s position is also the same. So, when it comes to the country’s position and national interests! I would like to ask, where are China’s interests?

"There are no eternal friends, only eternal interests."

Looking back at history, China used to be a poor and backward country. After decades of development, it has undergone earth-shaking changes! These changes cannot occur without the cooperation and help of foreign partners, in addition to China's correct national policy of focusing on economic construction and adhering to reform and opening up!

From an economic perspective, China's rapid development has also contributed greatly to infrastructure and real estate. But they only account for half of China's economy, and the other half is inseparable from investment and trade.

China's industrial production and commodity sales particularly require high-tech, foreign investment and international markets. Today, when China's domestic consumption is very sluggish, the external market becomes even more important. So, which countries provide markets to China? Which countries provide technology to China? Which countries provide investment to China? Sorry, these countries are almost all Western countries headed by the United States. They are not only the largest investors in China, but also the main consumers of a large number of Chinese products. These can be seen at a glance from the ranking list of China’s economic and trade partners!

Today, China's industrial output exceeds that of the United States. This is the result of developed countries transferring part of their industrial production to China in the context of today's globalization. In fact, China's own industrial production level is still relatively low, and the production and exports of foreign companies account for a large part of China's export trade! It is said that 40% of China's exports are created by foreign-funded enterprises. How much foreign exchange have those foreign companies earned back to China? How many people’s employment problems have been solved? If these countries are not friends, who else can be called a friend of China? !

So, let me talk about some countries that some people call friends: Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and Pakistan. The economic and trade relations between these countries and China are pitifully small. Added together, they may not even account for a fraction of China's foreign trade!

Russia is the largest among these countries, but does it have the money to invest in China? Does it provide China with any high-tech technologies? Does it provide a broad market for Chinese products? nothing! It is just a supplier of China’s oil, gas and other resources! At present, international resources are a buyer's market, and there is a long queue of countries that can replace them.

As for North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and Pakistan, they regard China as their financial sponsor and look forward to China's charity every day! China spends a lot of money to raise them, as long as they don't cause trouble to China. How much help can they be expected to help China? ! Are China’s friends just money losers who cannot hold up the wall and need China’s help? ! You know, China's birth rate is declining so fast and childcare costs are so high. To solve these problems and implement people's livelihood policies, a lot of money is still needed!

Some people may say that Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and Pakistan can be used as shields. That would be a big mistake. Except for Russia, none of these countries can protect themselves! And what is Russia doing all the time? It can't even deal with the weak Ukraine. It's waiting for China's blood transfusion, but it can still count on it! Besides, if China eases its relations with Western countries, its role as a shield will naturally be reduced!
