Will the Philippines ever be Singapore?

No.

• The Filipinos elected Bong Bong Marcos, a LIBERAL, pro-American puppet, to power despite the warnings of former president Duterte. Now, Marcos expanded the placement of American bases in the country, endangering the lives of the locals.
• The Philippine system is feudal, the Singaporean system is Democratic Socialist and Social Democratic in nature. Lee Kwan Yew calls it the “Asian Model” or the “Third way”. This system is similar to what they use in China, Vietnam and to a lesser extent, South Korea.
• The Philippines privatizes everything, including key industries like power and water, in Singapore like in China, Vietnam and South Korea, the government is in charge. So what you have is the Philippines having the most expensive power rates in Asia.
• The Philippines gives away everything to the oligarchs. BBM is probably the most oligarch president in history. In Singapore, the people’s government is in control.
• Filipinos suffer from COLONIAL MENTALITY, while Lee Kwan Yew was a pan-Asianist and very critical of the Western world. He was good friends with China’s Deng Xiaoping, another great leader.
• Filipinos are overly religious to a foreign imperialist religion, Catholicism, while Singaporeans are either non-religious or follow Asian religions like Taoism and Buddhism.
• Filipinos subscribe to Wester Liberal Democracy, while Singaporeans follow Confucian doctrine, and Taoist Philosophy.
• To spread development, a lot of Filipinos outside the NCR want federalism and charter change to remove the 60/40 rule, but the oligarch Marcos Jr refuses it to consolidate the pro-American oligarch’s power.
