If there is but one God, aren't we all praying to and worshipping the same God regardless of what we see, even if some believe there are many?

All the world’s religions believe different things about God: that he was incarnated as Krishna or Jesus; that he spoke to Allah or Joseph Smith; or that he is a person or three persons or simply a universal impersonal spirit.

But this diversity of beliefs doesn’t change reality! It just means that some of us — perhaps all of us — are mistaken about God’s actions and attributes.

Personally, I believe that God is perfect and judgmental, that humans are imperfect and unacceptable, but that God loves us and forgives us by grace through Jesus.

But God, the one transcendent, personal Creator, is the same one all religions are seeking and worshiping.
