Is Putin a genius?

You can call Putin a genius of depravity and corruption. A person with the ethics of a mafia boss and sadism of doctor Mengele — and an absolute coward to the core.

He will be known in history books as the ruler who single-handedly destroyed the remnants of the Russian Empire, by setting in motion a chain of events that led to the geopolitical demise of Moscow.

Putin was lucky when he got handed the reins of the country that was on a strong upward trajectory — he was awarded the accolades for what his predecessor set in motion.

Putin took a country that was set to thrive — and smashed it into a concrete wall.

Russians suspect he’s a Chinese spy — because of what he’s done to Russia. Russia under Putin has irreversibly transitioned into the raw materials appendage of the Chinese industrial complex — the industrial might of the Soviet Union, still accessible 30 years ago after the crash of the USSR, is all but a distant memory today.

Russia is behind in every technical aspect — the 3 years of the Ukrainian war inflicted devastating damage on Russia’s scientific and industrial potential.

You need to be a genius to cause such devastation to an economy that otherwise should have been thriving.

If the Russian economy is in tatters, but still functioning, albeit haphazardly — Russia’s stature on the world stage got completely torched.

Putin became so toxic that an alliance with him can destroy any politician’s reputation and future.

The values-based western democracies are still the aspirational beacon of light and dignity — while greed and Machiavellianism are universally despised.

The history makes sense when looking backwards — but we have to live it forwards.

The only thing that is obvious to those who learned from history is that after a period of utmost turbulence comes rebirth into the light.

The dark forces that crawled from the past epoch are on their death throes.

The darkest hour is just before the sunrise.
Stay strong and on course.

We are nearly there.
